What I do

I love clean code and to keep things simple, usable and maintainable. Extensive and thorough documentation is of the essence. I've seen too many convoluted web apps where even the main developer doesn't understand anymore what was coded only 6 months earlier. As a Sysadmin I like to keep servers lean and mean, following a minimalist approach which according to my experience is best achieved with Debian GNU/Linux. My enthusiams for virtualization has worn off over the year bit although I still host most of my own development environments in VMs.
